Between the 6th and the 16th July, CCP joined Grinspoon on the Western Australian leg of their 'Show Pony Express' tour.
Commencing in Geraldton, the tour, which was supported by local band 'Mr Sandman', sold out every show including Karratha, Port Headland, Broome, Kalgoorlie, Margaret River and 2 Perth shows.
Anthony Petruzio (formally of Perth) was the touring LD and spec'd a rig consisting of Martin Mac 300's, 500's and 600's. And the innovation of 20 x fluro beacons hanging sporadically across the backdrop made the effect during 'Chemical Heart' as amazing as the hit song. In a testament to the rocking staff we have here in Perth, Tony Bryan was the touring FOH Audio Op, Mike Ballantine the Monitor Op for the WA Leg of the tour and Les Cross from CCP and Erik Evans (formally of CCP) were the systems techs who joined the boys on the WA run of the tour.
