The Moora Country Campout commenced in 2000 as a fundraising event after 3 floods between March and June of 1999 severely damaged the town. The Campout is a 3 day event featuring a street festival, park concert, bush races, beaut ute comp, the speedway and the main event, being the Easter Saturday Concert at the recreation oval. In the past, this has featured such artists as: Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jeffries, Tania Kernaghan, Jimmy Barnes, Troy Casser-Daley, Kasey Chambers, Carter & Carter and the Topp Twins. This year saw Adam Brand and Melinda Schnieder supported by The Flood, Mag 7 and Wayward Angelz and CCP were once again contracted by the Moora Council to organise the Production for the event.
Les Cross and Jayke Pritchard of CCP were the LD’s for evening, highlighting the artists of the event against the star-lit backdrop of the Moora, country night sky.
