CCP Support Sting - Leeuwin Estate Tsunami Benefit

This year, the Annual Leeuwin Estate Concert played host to the internationally acclaimed composer, singer and actor 'Sting'. With the tradition of the Leeuwin Estate Concert beginning in 1985, it has a gained a reputation as one of the most extraordinary concerts ever held in Australia.

After more than 10 years of supplying lighting production for the event, Concert and Corporate Productions was once again approached to be a part of the event.

Following the devastation of the Boxing Day Tsunami's in Asia, Leeuwin Estate proposed an additional concert; a Benefit concert, to be held on the Thursday before the scheduled weekend performances. Concert and Corporate Productions came aboard and supplied the lighting production and staff for the 'Sting - Leeuwin Estate Tsunami Benefit Concert' as a donation to help those affected by the disaster. The concert was a sell out and in excess of $4.9 million was raised through this event.

With a rig that included 12 x Mac 2000, 16 x Mac 600, 8 x Mac 300, 8 x Mac 250, 4 x City Colours and 4 x ChromaBanks, the impact created was something the that all in attendance will never forget.
