Members Equity Stadium was the venue for both the Def Leppard and Eros Ramazzotti concerts, held in succession on October 31st and November 1st.
It had been 16 years since Def Leppard last charmed Perth with their British rock sounds, but they returned on their Songs from the sparkle lounge tour, supported by The Galvatrons and Cheap trick.
Playing to around 12,000 leather jacket clad fans, the concert had nothing but rave reviews and plea’s for the band to return again soon.
After an overnight bump out and bump in, Eros Ramazzotti, the brilliant Italian singer and songwriter, was ready to show Perth for the first time, why he has sold over 40 million records over his 25 year career.
CCP provided the site management for both events, ensuring that not only was the Friday night Def Leppard event turned over to Eros the following day, but the venue was also transformed again after the Saturday night event in preparation for the Sunday afternoon Perth glory game.
